Since 1969

Dr. Wolz Zell GmbH has been in existence since 1969. The company founder Siegfried Wolz, a biotechnology engineer, laid the foundation for the company many years before. He acquired his thorough specialized knowledge of biotechnology as a scientific coworker of Nobel Laureate Professor Dr. Feodor Lynen who worked on isolating coenzyme A (an important component of cell metabolism) from the yeast cell. For this research, Professor Dr. Lynen received the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1964.
The many years of cooperation with Dr. med. Dr. rer. nat. P.G. Seeger (cancer researcher, physician, and biologist) and his work at the Boehringer Ingelheim company led to the development of the Enzyme Yeast Cells Dr. Wolz.
From this background arose the unique, successful traditional product with the Enzyme Yeast Cells Dr. Wolz Zell Oxygen®.
